Much of a civil dispute is decided by what was done before the claim was filed: what was secured, what was written to the other side, and whether the claim is worth bringing at all. That assessment is made first, and made deliberately rather than after the cost has been incurred.

Where the matter settles, it settles on terms prepared as carefully as a case would be; where it does not, it is conducted before the Israeli courts, in Hebrew, and reported to a client abroad in English. Where a judgment or an undisputed debt has to be turned into an actual recovery, the enforcement is carried on as part of the same file.

Private Clients & Global Mobility

Family matters connected to more than one country are the part of this practice the firm's international clients meet most often. The Israeli element is dealt with in Israel — what it consists of, what has to be produced, and what has to be filed — while the rest is left with the client's own advisers abroad and kept aligned with them.

Israeli assets and inheritance held by a family based elsewhere are handled the same way.
